Description:

This interactive activity was designed with inspiration from Living Books such as Arthur's Birthday and builds upon the principal of Living Books by delivering an animated story as well as questions about the story which the student must answer correctly in order to proceed. The story line is delivered in vocalized audio as well as on screen text. The audio can be avoided if human narration is preferred. After each narration, a visual scene plays out through animated picture communication symbols (PECS), sound effects, and music. Once the scene is finished, the student is prompted to answer a question about the scene involving the use of a preposition from a field of three choices. Content review and performance reinforcement are provided regardless upon correct or incorrect response.
