Description:
This is a set of reasons for why we read. It is based on Karen Erickson's work where you set a purpose for why you are reading. For example: "we are going to read "There was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly" so that we can sequence what happens. Let's listen for what happens first, second, etc."
